Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Shampoo & Conditioner Review

If you haven't heard of the Organix brand, I'm here to tell you about one of their most popular products. As long as I've known about this brand I have always been recommended the Coconut Milk products. They have all types of products infused with creation oils, milks and butters. I was not completely new to this brand as I have been using the Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage Serum for more than a year now. I absolutely loved that product and love the smell. I figured that if I enjoyed that one I might as well try their shampoo and conditioner. Not only this, but anyone that knows me, knows that I'm completely in love with anything that has to do with coconut.

When I bought this my friend told me what it had done to her hair, and it wasn't a great experience at all. However, being the beauty blogger I am, I went on and tried it.

I can honestly say I had the same exact experience as her. The shampoo completely dried out my hair while in the shower. It does not feel nourishing at all. It was such a dry feeling that it felt like I couldn't run my hands through it or all of my hair would fall out. I still hoped for the best and went on to try the conditioner. It did what I wanted to which was to at least help with the dryness. It helped, but the dry feeling never really went away.

Now, I know everyone loves this but I read some reviews online and there were even people that the shampoo made their hair fall out.

Pros: Smell of delicious coconuts! Conditioner did help moisture hair a tad.

Cons: Dryness from shampoo.

Overall Opinion: It has a very sweet coconut smell, but it did nothing but dry out my hair. Conditioner did a good job in trying to balance everything out, but it wasn't enough.

Do I recommend?: No, based on my experience I wouldn't. I have gone back to using my cheaper one and it works way better than this one.

What are your thoughts? Have you tried this? Do you like it? Do you want to try it?
