Summer 2014 in Review

It's the end of Summer 2014, you guys. Which means my senior year of college is going to start! Although I say that, it hasn't hit me yet. It's so weird that this will be my last year of undergrad. Coming to college has been such a rewarding opportunity, but I know life after college will be just as good.

This summer has probably been one of the most active summers I have ever had. Although I worked countless hours Monday through Friday, every weekend was filled with fun activities. Lots of "firsts" were checked off, and lots of memories were made! I wanted to do a post recapping my Summer in case you're new, haven't seen some, or just want to see some pretty photos. Enjoy!

Dunes Beach, Rhode Island

So where were we the day Germany won the World Cup? In the gorgeous state of Rhode Island, of course. Since I moved to New England, Rhode Island was one of those states I knew I had to visit. It is the smallest state in the United States, and it is well known for it's beaches. With one of my roommates being from there, I have heard plenty of this beautiful state and was so happy when I found out we were going to be going there. Too bad it interfered with the World Cup finals.

Weekly Diary: Germany & School

Isn't it funny how I usually put a photo of me on these "Weekly Diary" posts? I think it is. But I have a reason, I swear. This whole Summer has involved me wearing the same IT work shirt, and some workout clothes underneath. Not the most glamorous thing you've ever seen. So, these little shots I put up are honestly the best I look in the whole week. At the beginning of the Summer, I decided I wasn't going to put much effort in my appearance. Most days involve me getting dirty from picking up computers or carrying things around. Although I really enjoy my job, that is the one part that is not so appealing of working in this job. Thankfully, I will be starting school soon and I will return to my few hours a week at this job.

current events:
- John is currently in Germany for 5 weeks. Yup, long distance for the 2nd, uh.. 3rd? 4th time? ehh.. We've done this too often in different situations. It never gets easier, but we definitely feel more comfortable this time around.
- As of today I have almost a week until school starts and I'm not sure how I feel about it. It's the beginning of my senior year, so I know lots of fun stuff will be coming.
- I moved into my new dorm. As I previously mentioned I did some vlogs on my YouTube channel. I'm enjoying making videos so much!

blog life:
- I've reached out to some blogger friends about some blog design stuff, and I'm so excited to be working with them! I have wanted to do this for over a year and finally got the energy to email them.
- In my YouTube world, I'm working on setting some stuff up. It's funny that it has taken me this long to start it, but now that I have, I won't stop. I'm already thinking of some stuff I want to do in the next few months!!
- I'm going to be honest and say I didn't exactly post as much I'd hope to this Summer, but I'm still pretty happy I posted a lot more than usual! I still want to share some posts to have them as memory.

So that's my life right now. The usual really..

I also want to thank everyone that reads this. From the interaction overall, I can tell that people come here, and although the comment section isn't as active as I would like,  I know everyone is reading. I'm very thankful for your support! :) It makes me happy that my friends like hearing about my adventures and even share it with their own friends. Thank you for liking my little blog and any other stuff I post.  ♥︎

Senior Year Dorm Room

It's that time of the year again! Probably my last time, too. This past week I was moving into my new dorm room for my senior year of college. It's crazy to think that this will be the last time I will be moving into a dorm on campus. Every experience has been different and with each experience I have learned many things.
